New Evaluators

What does it take to become a professional evaluator?

Becoming an evaluator is more than just a sign-up page on someone’s website.  Mystery Customer Research providers like BARE International look for evaluators with a unique set of skills and attributes to best serve their clients.

Are you willing to…..

  • Spend the appropriate time becoming familiar with each project’s goals and objectives as well as the specific preferences of the client in each case?
  • Notice the small details and report them accurately?
  • Document your experience in an objective, concise manner?
  • Consistently meet project deadlines?
  • Promptly return phone calls or emails about your evaluations?

Professional Evaluators are “Detail People”.   The ability to note several details at the same time is critical for success in this field.  For example, a skilled evaluator can recognize and recall how employees were dressed and carrying themselves, the appearance of the store, and how long it took for him/her to be greeted…all within the first few moments of entering an establishment.

Evaluators are Objective.   Keeping an open mind is imperative.  If an evaluator has visited a store or restaurant before it is easy for his/her observations to be biased by previous experiences.   The evaluator must approach each project with fresh eyes each time and report their findings in the same manner.

Evaluators are Skilled Communicators.  Concise and detailed notes help an evaluator to accurately portray the right information.  Timeliness is also important in this line of work:  projects have deadlines that the provider must meet.  Evaluators are relied upon to help providers adhere to clients’ time frames for each project.

Experienced individuals that have these qualities are invited to become part of BARE's evaluator database. Register today to begin the path to establish yourself as a competent and reliable evaluator.
